Static vs tracked QR
These codes encode your text or URL directly. There is no redirect service, click counter, or edit-after-print link, what you encode is what scanners open.
Tool
Static QR codes from text or a URL, generated on your device, downloadable as PNG or SVG. No tracking. No short links. No accounts.
Make a QR code for a URL, WiFi network, email, or see all types.
Fully client-side after page load, generation makes zero network requests. Content never leaves your browser. No analytics baked into the code.
Create a static QR code from any text or URL, styled to match your brand, generated on your device.
Tokitool creates static QR codes: the payload (URL, text, Wi-Fi string, and more) is encoded directly in the code. There is no redirect short-link, click dashboard, or “edit after print” service. Scanners open exactly what you encoded. Generation runs in your browser after the page loads.
Tracked QR products wrap your link in their domain so they can count scans and change the destination later. That is useful for campaigns. It is also a dependency: if the vendor dies or your trial ends, printed codes can break. Static codes skip that tradeoff. Change the destination only by printing a new code.
Type hubs: URL, Wi-Fi, text, or email. Longer notes: How to make URL and Wi-Fi QR codes.

Higher error correction (Q/H) survives damage and small center logos better — including the built-in dino, bot, and cat stamps. If a logo covers too much of the code, raise EC until phones scan reliably.
PNG is ideal for chats and slides. SVG scales cleanly for print and design tools without becoming blurry.
Yes, use the Wi‑Fi hub or paste a WIFI: payload. Guests can join without typing the password, but anyone who scans can see it, so treat printed codes carefully.
After page load, generation does not send your content to Tokitool. What you type stays in the browser tab.
