Most “remove person from photo” tools upload the image to a server and regenerate the scene. This page does not. People and faces are found in your browser. When to use Cover face
Use it when you need faces hidden cleanly — a group shot you want to share, a screenshot, or any photo where a recognisable face is the problem and the rest of the frame can stay. Tap a face, pick an emoji, download. There is no generative fill, so the hide is predictable. That is why Cover face is the default.
When experimental erase can work
Erase tries to remove a selected silhouette and fill the hole from nearby pixels. It is worth a try on a single person against a simple wall, sky, or grass. It often smears on fences, crowds, brick, and mixed textures. If the fill looks soft, sample a clean bit of background and run erase again — or restore and switch to Cover face.
What this is not
- Not a cloud studio. It will not rebuild a street or invent a missing limb.
- Not a guarantee on busy scenes. Experimental erase is labelled that way on purpose.
- Not an upload-and-wait service. If the detection model CDN is blocked, the first run cannot start.

Can I erase a person from the photo?
Yes, as an experimental local patch. Switch to Select, tap a silhouette, then Erase (experimental). Busy scenes (fences, crowds, brick) often smear. Cover face is the predictable option.
Why does erase look blurry or smeared?
Erase copies nearby pixels; it does not regenerate the scene. Fences, brick, and mixed textures do not have a clean patch to copy. Sample a simpler bit of background and try again, or restore and use Cover face.
Do I need to mark the person?
For Cover face, tap a detected face. For experimental erase, tap a silhouette. Use Add area only to fix edges or hair, and Trim edge if the outline spills over.
What is Sample background?
Optional, for experimental erase only. If auto fill looks soft, click Sample background, tap once on clean background, then Erase again.
Does my photo get uploaded?
No. Finding people, covering faces, brushing, and erase all run in your browser. Tokitool does not receive the photo. The only network fetch is the detection model on first use.
Will it look like BeautyPlus / studio apps?
