1. Summary
Most Tokitool utilities process your files and text entirely in your browser. We do not require an account. We do not sell personal information. Tool inputs (photos, chat exports, passwords, JSON, and similar) are not uploaded to Tokitool servers for processing.
2. Who we are
Tokitool is operated as a sole proprietorship. For privacy questions, email hello@tokitool.com or visit the contact page.
3. What the tools process
When you use a tool, data stays on your device unless a page clearly says otherwise. Examples:
- WhatsApp chat exports, images, JSON, Base64, timestamps, and generated passwords are handled locally in the browser.
- Background removal may download an on-device AI model from a third-party CDN the first time you use that feature; your photo itself is not sent to Tokitool for processing.
- We do not store tool outputs on our servers.
4. Website analytics and hosting
Hosting providers and CDNs may automatically collect standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps) to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and keep the site online. Those logs are governed by the host’s own policies as well as this one.
Tokitool also keeps anonymous, aggregate tool-use counts (which tool, which UTC day, and the ISO country Cloudflare reports for that request). Country is derived at the edge; we do not store IP addresses, referrers, or anything that identifies a person. This is for the private owner dashboard only.
If we add first-party analytics later, this policy will be updated to name the provider and what is collected.
5. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Tokitool uses Google AdSense. While ad units are switched off, no Google advertising script loads at all — the site is linked to our publisher account with a small verification meta tag and an ads.txt file, neither of which runs code or sets cookies. When we do enable units, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can learn how Google uses data by visiting How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- You can manage ad personalization via Google Ads Settings and industry opt-outs such as aboutads.info.
We do not intentionally place ads that collect the private contents of files you process in a tool. Ads are display inventory around the page chrome and supporting content (including guides), not inside editors, crop canvases, or file dropzones.
6. Cookies
Essential cookies may be set by the host or security layers. Advertising cookies may be set by Google or partners once we enable ad units; until then no advertising script runs on the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some site features may then work less reliably.
7. Children’s privacy
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided such information, contact us and we will delete it where applicable.
8. External links
Pages may link to third-party sites (fonts, documentation, CDN model hosts, or Google policy pages). Their privacy practices are their own; review those policies before use.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the product or advertising setup changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
