QR codes that start an email

An email QR code uses the mailto: format. Scanning it opens the phone’s mail app with your address already filled in, so contacting you takes a single tap, great for business cards, flyers, and signage.

You can pre-fill a subject too by extending the link, e.g. mailto:you@example.com?subject=Hello. Replace the address in the template with your own and generate.

Format: mailto:hello@example.com?subject=Hello
